STUDIO POLICIES

Welcome to Chareva’s Home Studio. Here are a few things you should know before your first aerial class:

Please arrive ten minutes early to your first class to give yourself time to read over the waiver and fill out an emergency contact form.

What to wear:
Please wear leggings and shirt that completely covers your chest and torso and can be tucked in. Alternatively you may wear a leotard and footless tights. You will be sliding against fabric which may cause a rug burn on unprotected skin. We suggest women wear a sports bra and men wear a dance belt. Also we will eventually be inverting and the aim is to keep all loose body parts tucked in and secure. We don’t want any wardrobe malfunctions! (Although it’s been known to happen). Have a ponytail holder handy and prepare to pull your hair back if it is long. Eventually we will be doing some moves that are notorious for eating your loose shirt or long hair and we would prefer to avoid that! (But again, these things sometimes happen).

What NOT to wear:
Please remove all jewelry including necklaces, earrings and rings. Please do not wear anything that can catch on the fabric and rip it or entangle you. This is a safety issue. Long nails make it challenging to properly grab the silks. Please be aware of this.

Bring a water bottle.

If you have an injury or health issue that would inhibit your ability to safely participate, please inform the instructor. All bodies and ability levels are welcome.

Read and sign a waiver before participating in activities.

Fill out an emergency contact form.

Most importantly HAVE FUN! We can’t wait to see you in class! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!

RIG POINT RENTAL

Fill out and sign the waiver.

Use a mat.

A rig point may be rented for self-guided training sessions for professional and highly experienced aerialists. $25 for two hours.

If a longer training session is needed, please inquire. Contact me through Instagram: TheRedEggStand

You may bring your personal apparatus.

No teaching is permitted.

If bringing your own specialty apparatus, a single point may be shared with ONE other aerial colleague at no additional cost.

If more than two people would like to book time together and share a single rig point, an additional rig point fee of $25 will be charged (even if all parties are sharing the same apparatus). Three persons maximum per rig point.

Three crash mats and one panel mat are available for use, thus limiting the maximum number of points to be rented at one time to 4. Please be aware that this price is very competitive and made available to the Middle Tennessee circus community as a gesture of good will. Training is safer and more fun when done with a buddy. Our priority is to to help keep you safe and encourage creative collaboration.

Thank you for training safe! Payment: Cash or Venmo: @Chareva-Naughton

STUDIO RENTAL

Renting the entire studio for a 2 hour session is $100 – the equivalent of renting four rig points.
