BUYER BEWARE
Know what you are buying and how to use it. Aerial apparatus and rigging hardware are special equipment that require stress testing and must pass very high quality control standards. COSTUMES
Most dance and aerial costumes are available for purchase only through your local studio. Some suppliers also have a limited selection that they sell on a separate website directly to the general public. Specialty items and custom items can be found on sites like Etsy and used items are available on Facebook Groups and locally.
HEALTH PROVIDERS
Keep it in the family. Many of the providers on this list are themselves circus performers and understand intimately the unique demands that these activities put on the body.

PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEOGRAPHY
The ability to capture that perfect pose is a skill. The following professionals have experience in this area. I strongly suggest you communicate with your photographer what poses you are looking for. It’s easy to speed through a routine and forget that you need to hold your poses (especially if you are on a spinning apparatus) long enough for the audience to register how cool that move is AND to give your photographer time to capture it. There’s nothing more disappointing than getting back professional photos of … well, not your best angle.
